2024 ANNUAL REPORT

Our Commitment

For six years until now, Paint the Globe Foundation has been committed to transforming lives through art and sustainable community development.

As we reflect on 2024, we are overwhelmed with gratitude. This year has been a testament to the power of art, education, and community-driven solutions. Through your unwavering support, Paint the Globe Foundation (PTGF) has expanded its reach, empowering communities across Rwanda, Tanzania, and beyond.

Our Impact

From fostering early childhood creativity in Rwanda to tackling environmental restoration in Tanzania, each initiative has been driven by our mission to provide sustainable opportunities for education, empowerment, and well-being. Our work was also recognized nationally when PTGF was featured in a Black History Month spotlight on DC News Now, highlighting our global efforts.

National Recognition - DC News Now Feature: Black History Month Spotlight

February 2024

In February 2024, Paint the Globe Foundation was honored to be featured on DC News Now's Black History Month Spotlight. The segment highlighted our global impact and the transformative power of art in addressing complex social challenges.

"I've been an artist my entire life. Through my travels I've noticed that I had a responsibility because I was able to see people who lived in poverty and abject conditions —much different than what we're experiencing here in America."
- Gabriel Williams, Founder

The spotlight showcased our journey from Kenya, where we provided art workshops for refugees fleeing war, to Thailand, where we helped exploited children heal through creative expression, to Tanzania, where we built water systems serving 5,000 villagers.

"Our aim and our goal of that exercise is to allow kids to be kids and allow them to also have the means to express themselves. Express how they feel and put a mask where they could smile and be happy because a lot of them are carrying the weight of their trauma."
- Gabriel Williams

The national exposure has increased awareness of our mission and attracted new supporters committed to making a difference globally through art and sustainable development.
